Taming Disruptive Digital Transformation
Dr. Ron Babin is an Associate Professor in the Ted Rogers School of IT Management. He also teaches executive education at the Centre for Outsourcing Research and Education (CORE) and at the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP). Prior to joining Ryerson, Ron had a 30 year professional career in IT and Management Consulting and served as a strategy consultant at Accenture and KPMG. In his current research he focuses on the social and environmental impacts of global outsourcing of IT and business processes, as well as vendor and sourcing management strategies.

Megan is an accomplished senior leader in Leadership Development, Innovation and Change Management with over 20 years of experience. Her strongest assets include strategic thinking, systemic innovation, creative problem solving, leadership development, team and learning facilitation and design. She is passionate about facilitating effective change in a positive and energetic way with individual leaders and organizations. She has led Innovation Teams tasked with critical business opportunities and won the National Quality Institute Award for Healthy Workplace.

The Internet of Everything
Alexander is a strategic innovation practitioner, international lecturer and author. He works with executive teams in Fortune 500 companies in industries as diverse as consumer packaged goods, media, advertising, mobile communications and manufacturing. He helps transform organizations by exploring and defining new competitive spaces, the development of new strategic business competencies and creation of imaginative innovation methods. For over 20 years Alexander has enabled global companies as diverse as Motorola, LEGO, Whirlpool, Nokia, Nawteq and Unilever, to develop policies and strategies that address emerging issues through strategic foresight and pre-competitive business models.
DAY 3 - FEBRUARY 20
Managing the Workplace for Tomorrow
After sneaking away from a small-town prairie farm, Shane spent his early career as an entrepreneur in North America and Europe focused on product design, robotics and connected devices. He later joined Idea Couture, a Design Thinking and innovation consultancy, to combine his technical knowledge with a knack for business strategy. Shane is a prolific writer on technology and frequently gives talks on Design Thinking, Robotics, AI, IoT and the future of technology in society. He is a Vanier scholar pursuing a PhD in Robotics at the University of Toronto, holds an MBA in Technology and Innovation from Ryerson University and a BEng from McGill University.
