Behind the Scenes: Volunteer Update October 2020 by Debbie Bolton

Our new fiscal year has shifted into high gear. More than 75 committee volunteers have rolled up their sleeves to implement our strategic plan and help you get more from our AMA community.

We’ve also just kicked off our 11th year of Mentor Exchange, fuelled by a loyal base of about 50 volunteer mentors and another 50 keen mentees. Interesting fact, over 90% of our mentors are alumni. Many thanks to our mentors who keep making this program a great opportunity for ambitious mid-level marketers.

We have many AMAzing volunteers. But each month the Board makes the tough choice of recognizing 1 or 2 committee volunteers for their exceptional contributions. Congratulations to our September winners!

Wendy Greenwood Marcom Account Director: Wendy has gone above and beyond supporting our CMO panel and Legendary Leadership events. She’s driven a more transparent and structured process to elevate our creative. She’s also written compelling blog posts sharing content from our MNG events. Wendy has recently joined the AMA Board as the VP of Thought Leadership.

Marina Boulatova Membership Manager MNG Events: Marina is a talented and results-driven project manager. Her brilliant suggestion resulted in a new project management tool for her team. Her committed efforts have helped drive record-breaking revenues and attendance and even an international audience for recent MNG events.
