COVID-19: our response and support resources

Concerns about COVID-19 have been dominating the news cycles and significantly impacting decisions regarding public gatherings.  Our event planners are heeding directions from health authorities to limit the potential for the virus to spread.

AMA Toronto had suspended all in-person planned professional development, networking and award show activities. These included events for AMA Toronto’s Marketing Networking Group (MNG), Canada’s Marketing Hall of Legends, as well as its Career Accelerator and Mentor Exchange programs. Participants and anyone with tickets to cancelled/postponed activities will be contacted directly by AMA Toronto.

However, we've pivoted and begun offering events and meetings online, including our popular MNG events and even online Mentorship. Stay tuned to our events page as we continue to drive engagement and value for our community in the online space.

Supporting Resources

We've also curated a wide number of resources to help you navigate these challenging times, whether you're a marketing professional, or in academia as a professor or student.  Get tips on working from home, actions to move your events online,  tips for teaching onlinefree digital online marketing training,  and many more.

Thank you for your understanding as we all navigate this dynamic situation. Our board of directors will continue to monitor the situation with COVID-19 and provide updates about its events and programming schedule to AMA members and the local marketing community by email, social media, and on ama-toronto.com.
