- Updates and maintains a database of active volunteers
complete with resumes, dates and records of service, volunteer

volunteers]
Responsibilities:
Telephone calls for:
- Membership
expiring
- Past
Members
- New
Members
- Potential ‘New’
Member(s)
Occasional tasks:
- Attend Connect Events, SIG’s, Breakfast forums etc.
Role: Welcome members and guest. Introduce
non-members to board members, guests, and other appropriate AMA
members. Approach guests that appear to be on their own and engage
conversation, and/or introduce to other members.
Non-Members
- Generate interest – profile the benefits of joining the
AMA.
- Review the application form.
Requirements:
- Candidates who can genuinely share their
‘experiences/stories’ of how the AMA has positively influenced
their career/connections/learning etc.
- Friendly and approachable – not overly aggressive /
‘slick’ or pushy.
- Professional appearance/ caring manner
- Strong voice/good listener
- Naturally comfortable meeting/interacting with people; in
person - particularly on the phone.
- Detailed, reliable and accountable.
