Volunteers of the Month April 2011: Julie Klien
Julie Klein has been an AMA member for
the last four years. Two years ago she assumed the role of
co-chair for the Financial Services SIG. In that time, Julie and
her team have a built a unique series of events for Financial
Services marketers, a first for the community. These events
have consistently sold out and exceeded our members expectations
with stimulating speakers and content, while meeting
profitability goals. In March, Julie was appointed to the
position of Director, Special Interest Groups, responsible
for overseeing the planning & execution of our three SIG
Portfolio's: Marketing Planning, Social Media and
Financial Services. Her key mandate is to build a
framework that allows for programming consistency and ensures
that the events are delivering high value to members,
attendees, sponsors and panelists. Julie Klein has over 15
years experience in Marketing focused on Financial Services, and
her day job is at HSBC Bank Canada, where she has worked for the
last 10 years helping to build their global brand in Canada, with
break-through marketing strategies and communications for Wealth
Management, Personal and Business banking lines.
